I was trimming the bushes yesterday because our HOA SUCKS and they NEVER trim the landscaping around the community.... buuuut that's a different story for a different day.
Also, my wife got upset with me for doing this because she told me to WAIT for her before I did this stupid yard work. Why? Well, because I rushed to do this an HOUR before we had to leave the house for Easter brunch...... Sooo I guess you could say this is MY FAULT and I should have waited for my wife AND IF I DID then none of this would haven happened. Yeaaaa that's ANOTHER story for a another day... haha
Well, now we've come to my question... WHAT DO WE DO?!?! We found this nest when I was trimming the bushes and then when we came back from our Easter crap one of the birds FELL out of the nest and was on the ground chirping to get back up.
My wife grabbed the baby with a plastic bag (so we didn't touch the baby). She placed him back in the nest and all is good...for now. We are now wondering WHAT SHOULD WE DO??? Do we leave the birds alone and let nature take it's course? Do we contact the city/county/state? Is there a wild life group we should contact?
ANY help you can provide, I'd VERY much appreciate it. Check out the video I posted to my IG:
