The countdown is on. Buddy needs a home ASAP.

Buddy was on the PTS (put to sleep) list yesterday, but he's been given just a little more time. He has until 4pm tomorrow to find a new home or a rescue organization to free him from the shelter. Buddy was seen being kicked out of a truck in Oildale. Thankfully the people who saw this scooped Buddy up and took him to Kern County Animal Services. But that was back in January. Months ago. And Buddy is still there. If no one wants to save him, the shelter has no choice. Buddy is calm in his kennel, but very playful outdoors! Watch this video and see for yourself! Buddy is a large dog, but would probably be just fine around kids. All he wants from anyone is love, attention, and play time! Buddy is fine with other dogs who have the same personality he does when it comes to other dogs - He'll be cool and calm with them, if they are cool and calm with him. I have no idea how Buddy is with cats. If you think your home and family might be the right fit for Buddy, please stop by Kern County Animal Services at 3951 Fruitvale Avenue and meet him for yourself! Or call 661-868-7100!
