Today is my big brother’s birthday. To say that I love and appreciate him would be a giant understatement. He’s the person that introduced me to Mike Tyson’s Punchout!, afterall. Once, in preschool, he pushed a kid who was being mean to me. Of course, he has been my friend from the moment he knew he was going to have a little sister. Life would ultimately suck without him around. And that nephew he gave goodness.

He’s also helped me in throwing a bunch of mix cds together over the years. This includes Nick and Robin’s Boppin’ Hitz: Volume II (yes, that is the title). I have NO clue where Volume I went, but this one is pretty good. I’m sure Volume I had a bunch of Guns N Roses on it. The fact that we put this one together while in our 20s is even more fascinating to me, especially near the end of the cd. Happy Birthday, big brother!

Track 1: Elvis Presley- Viva Las Vegas

I’m not a huge Elvis fan (I know, I know...I also prefer Dean Martin over Frank Sinatra), but this is one of my favorites.

Track 2: AC/DC- Highway to Hell

Track 3: Kenny Rogers- The Gambler

You guys. You have no idea.

Track 4: Gavin Rossdale- Adrenaline

The only “current” song on this cd. I don’t care, I still dig it and so does Nick.

Track 5: Queen- Princes of the Universe

This song makes me think of my grandma because she LOVES Highlander. That’s right, she’s badass.

Track 6: Queen-Who Wants to Live Forever

Track 7: Red Hot Chili Peppers- Give It Away

Track 8: Red Hot Chili Peppers- Under the Bridge

Track 9: Ray Charles- Georgia On My Mind

*swoon* Music at its finest.
