The bassist for the rock band 3 Doors Down is being ordered to enroll in drug and alcohol awareness programs after losing his appeal of a DUI conviction in Mississippi.
Todd Harrell had been convicted after a July 2012 arrest in D'Iberville.
According to the "Sun Herald," the judge on Wednesday also fined Harrell and sentenced him to jail time in Harrison County, but waived the time behind bars if Harrell remains free of legal problems for half a year.
The rocker also faces a vehicular homicide charge in Nashville following an accident that claimed the life of another driver last April.
His band 3 Doors Down is scheduled to kick off a tour this Friday in Reno, Nevada.
